๐Ÿš€ Coding Club โ€” After School

Tom Wallace MSTAT_

Where print("hello world") meets "once upon a time." A coding club built by a storyteller, for kids who love to build, discover, and imagine.

Scene Two โ€” The Coding Club

Every good program needs a good plot

This isn't a club about staring at syntax. It's about giving children a blank canvas and the tools to fill it โ€” characters that talk back, games with rules they invented, animations that tell a story only they could dream up. Every session blends the logic of code with the craft of a story: a beginning, a build, and a triumphant final showcase.

// what a typical project starts with
print("Once upon a time, a sprite needed a quest...")
๐ŸŽจ Creativity

Build worlds, not worksheets

Children design their own characters, games and interactive stories from the ground up โ€” there's no single "right answer" to reach.

๐Ÿ•น๏ธ Engagement

Learning that feels like play

Small challenges and quick wins keep momentum high, with Tom's drama background bringing energy and warmth to every session.

๐ŸŽญ Story

A showcase, not just a screen

Projects build toward a "performance" moment โ€” sharing and celebrating what they've made, just like a curtain call.

Scene Three โ€” What Parents Say

โ€œ

You've made a huge difference to [our son]'s academic year in teaching him something brand new. He absolutely loves coding and from what I've heard, he's really good at it too! He wishes to continue with coding, only with you as the teacher though! We hope to see you next term/year???
